Keyword targeting lets you serve ads to users based on specific terms — such as destinations, interests, or behaviours — so your ads reach the most relevant audience. Once your keyword list is enabled, you can apply targeting directly on a line item and forecast the available inventory in real time.Documentation Index

Getting keyword targeting enabled
Keyword targeting is not active by default. To enable it, contact your account manager and provide a keyword file as a CSV. The CSV must follow this structure:| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | A human-readable label for the keyword group (e.g. Destination, Destination DE) |
| Key | The targeting parameter key used by the ad server (e.g. dest) |
| Value | The specific value to match against (e.g. dubai, phuket) |
Keyword targeting is enabled across your entire client account, but it only applies to specific products. If you don’t see the targeting panel on a line item, the product associated with that line item may not support keyword targeting. Contact your account manager to confirm which products have it enabled.
Applying targeting to a line item
Open the line item
Navigate to the line item you want to target — either from the sidebar Line Items page or from the parent campaign.
Open the targeting panel
On the line item Overview tab, scroll down to the Targeting section. This panel is only visible on line items delivered through Uplift Ads with keyword targeting enabled on your account.
Select your keyword groups
Choose one or more keyword groups from the list. Each group represents a set of values your account manager loaded from your keyword file.
Review the forecast
The forecast updates in real time as you select targeting and adjust the line item’s date range. Use this to confirm there is sufficient available inventory before saving.
